I was born in Cheltenham and one of my early homes was a flat in a large converted house called Cleevemont in Evesham Road in Cheltenham. The house is no longer there, but the gatepost is! The grounds are now the site of a private block of flats.
Cleeve Hill overlooks Cheltenham and the country town of Bishop’s Cleeve. Cleevemont, and the trips on the bus to Cleeve Hill are among my earliest memories.
I’m Martin Davies, I’ve lived in Cheltenham, Wallingford, Kingston-upon-Thames, Wallington, Norfolk and Suffolk and am now back in South Wales, living in Tredegar and working in Taff’s Well.
